How much does smash repair cost?
The cost of auto smash repair is determined by the damage to your car and the work that is required to be done.
If you’ve been in a minor accident and only need simple repairs such as paint touch-up or light replacement, it will be cheaper than if your car needs major work done, such as getting new panels.

How long does a smash repair take?
The time it will take to fix your car depends on the repair process that it requires to address the damages.
Minor repairs can be finished in a couple of days, such as for windshield replacement. The more extensive the damage is, the longer it will take to complete the repairs. Major car repairs such as panel replacements can take from several days to a week.

I’ve just gotten into an accident, what do I do?
Call your insurance company and let them determine who’s at fault. Don’t readily admit that you’re at fault to the other party. Your insurance company will cover the damage to your car if you have comprehensive coverage. If you don’t, you could be shouldering your own repairs.
If you know you are not at fault for the collision, do not give in to pressure and cover the other party’s car repairs. If you cannot come to an agreement with them, you may contact the police to help determine who is at fault.
Do you offer hire cars and would I be eligible for one?
Yes we do. Generally, if you are not at fault then you will be eligible for a hire car. These are available upon request for eligible customers, but additional costs may apply if your insurance doesn’t cover this. We have different hire cars that you can use for the meantime while we service your damaged vehicle. We can arrange for a hire car to be brought to your residence. This way, you won’t have to struggle getting around if you have no other car to use on the daily.
How long will my repairs take?
Typically, for light to medium damage, 3-5 business days, but it would also depend on the extent of damage found after closer look by the specialists. Expect longer repair times for more severe damages.
Flow Autobody makes sure that the client understands the damage that the car took and the process to repair it. We will contact you once we have stripped and inspected your vehicle to give a more accurate timeline for finishing the job.
Do you help with insurance?
Definitely! Here’s what we’ll do after you’ve lodged your claim with your insurer:1. We’ll take it from there and request repair authority for the acting insurance company.2. You can then book your repairs with us.
We coordinate with your insurance provider the best way we can to help you get approval for the repairs. This way you won’t have to deal with the hassles of communicating with them and we can start the repair process quickly and safely get you back on the road.
Can I choose my own repairer?
It would depend on two things:
1. Who’s at fault2. Your insurance policy Typically, if you’re not at fault, then yes, you have choice of repairer. If you are at fault, then it would depend on your insurance policy.
We always recommend that you get an insurance policy that gives you choice of repairer. Otherwise, you will be stuck with the repair shop your insurance company is partnered with. You’ll have to travel to wherever the shop is, and you’ll have to adjust to the available schedule for repairs.

With extra private work, you are guaranteed extra attention to your car. We make sure that we charge reasonable rates for private work that we explain in the estimate and during the discussion.
